Galatasaray signed a four-season term contract with Emmanuel Eboué transferred from Arsenal FC. Galatasaray SK has agreed to pay 3.5 million Euros to the English club and a total of 9.4 million to Eboué to be paid in installments for every season in addition to 10,000 thousand Euros for each match.
Born in 1983 in Ivory Coast, Eboué (5 ft 9in) began his football career in ASEC Mimosas (also known as Mimosas Abidjan) youth academy when he was 17 where he became a professional player the year after. In 2002 Eboué was transferred to the Belgian club Beveren and played there until 2005 before he was signed by Arsenal.
Even though Eboué holds both Ivorian and Belgian passports, he is a member of Ivory Coast international football team since 2004.
