Galatasaray Professional Senior Football Team defeated Akhisar Belediye with a score of two goals against one in the twenty-second week of the Spor Toto Super League Friday evening on February 15 at the Manisa l9 Mayıs Stadium.
The first half of the game ended in a tie with no goals.
In the second half new arrival of Galatasaray, Didier Drogba made his first Galatasaray debut replacing Umut Bulut in minute 62. Five minutes later he scored the first goal of the game with a header grabbing the ball passed to the penalty box by Burak Yılmaz following a long pass of Wesley Sneijder.
Following a wall pass between Drogba and Sneijder, grabbing the ball at the penalty line Burak Yılmaz scored the second goal for the Yellow-Reds in minute 70.
In minute 84 Sertan Vardar scored the only goal of Akhisar Belediye. By the end of Week 22, Galatasaray once again leads the league standings with 43 points.
Galatasaray will be hosting Orduspor on Monday February 25 in the twenty-third week of the Spor Toto Super League.
