Sabri Sarıoğlu is one of the first gifts of the Galatasaray Academy to the Turkish football in the years beginning with 2000.

After his successful performances in the Reserve League, in the 2000-2001 season, he appeared in the First Team squad for the first time, in the match we defeated Gençlerbirliği with 3-1. He completed that year in the Reserve Team.In 2003-2004 he rose to the First Team with Fatih Terim.
Last season in the Bursaspor match, carrying the ball from his own penalty area to Bursaspor’s and throwing the ball over the goalkeeper to the nets, he scored one of the best goals of the year.

Having named “Speedy Gonzales” after his high speed, Sabri has been called to the national teams 128 times till now and played for the A National Team 11 times since 2006. Together with the right wing which is his primary area of expertise, he can also play in the right back.
