Galatasaray Doğa Sigorta Men's Basketball Team signed Alex Poythress from United States until the end of 2019-2020 season.

26-yeard-old big man can play as power forward and center.

Born 6 September 1993, Poythress had a glorious high-school career in his country. Regarded one of the best prospects in his class, Poythress graduated to college level as a 5-star-recruit to play for Kentucky.

After playing with our shooting guard Aaron Harrison in Kentucky, Poythress went undrafted in 2017 NBA Draft but played for Philadelphia 76ers, Indiana Pacers and Atlanta Hawks and all three team's NBA G League affiliates respecitvely.

Poyhtress lastly played for Chinese Basketball Association's Jilin Northeast Tigers in 2019.

We welcome him to our club and wish him success in his first season with our jersey.
