Our senior football team hosted Çaykur Rizespor in Matchday #10 of Turkish Süper Lig to a 2-0 win at home and gained its 16th point this season.

In 15th minute, a header from Rizespor defender Talbi to Ömer Bayram's cross brought Lions the 1-0 lead after a dominant start to the game.

In 17th minute, a hand-ball from Çaykur Rizespor defense caused the referee to award a penalty to Yellow and Red. Ryan Babel converted from the spot in 18th minute to make it 2-0.

Throughout the rest of the game, Lions controlled and usually dominated the game but mishaps and mistakes in final passes and finishing touches prevented our lead to increase.

Lions won the game 2-0 and added much needed three points to our tally despite missing the chance to get a win with a bigger margin.
