Galatasaray Senior Football Team has claimed 23rd Turkish Süper Lig title after winning against Ankaragücü on the 36th Matchday.

Mauro Icardi (2), Barış Alper Yılmaz and Sergio Oliveira scored the goals for The Lions and Galatasaray secured the league title one week prior to officially completing the season run.

Galatasaray hold the most league titles with number 23, drawing away from the closest competitor Fenerbahçe (19). 

A big party broke out in Ankara after the final whistle as players and staff took over the field to celebrate a well-earned championship after a long season. Galatasaray’s 23rd title is being celebrated all around the world.
