Galatasaray faced Akhisarspor in Ankara Eryaman Stadium for Turkish Super Cup 2019. Our team got 1-0 win and won Turkish Super Cup 16th time in our history.

Belhanda’s accurate and sharp shot in 39th minute brought 1-0 lead and victory. Getting a back-heel pass from Jean Michael Seri, Belhanda sent a good shot to score from left far side of the box to the far post of Akhisarspor goal.

Adem’s header after Selçuk’s good cross from a free-kick found the net in 41st minute but did not change the scoreboard since our player was offside.

Lions kept their lead and did not lose the control of the game in the remaining part of the game.

After a crucial miss by Akhisarspor in 90th minute thanks to a deflection from our defense, Lions managed to keep a hold of the game reached the treble after 5 minutes of extra time.

By claiming the win and the title, our club completed the Turkish treble for third time. Galatasaray is now the only team with three trebles in Turkish football ahead of some of its biggest rivals, Fenerbahçe (1) and Trabzonspor (1).

Our coach Fatih Terim won the 21^st trophy of his Galatasaray career with this game, extending his record as the most decorated Galatasaray coach of our history.
