After signing the contract that completes his temporary transfer to our club, Emre Mor visited our chairman Mustafa Cengiz. During the visit vice chairman Abdurrahim Albayrak was also present.

When their meeting ended our chairman Cengiz, vice chairman Albayrak and our new signing Emre Mor gave their comments about the transfer to Galatasaray TV.

Mustafa Cengiz:

“Emre was born and grew abroad. When I look at him, I am reminded of our people who went to European countries to work and live since 1961. We have generations of people over there. First generation could not learn the language of European countries, unfortunately. However, later generaitons could not learn their mother tongue. Both of these generations had different language problems in the country they live.”

“They both struggled with it. Emre gave his own struggle with his youth, his soul, his football in Europe. Now he is going fight here. Turkey is his country and Galatasaray is now his home. We believe Emre will show his god-given talent and compete until the last drop of his sweat. We believe he is going to show his talent, his character on the field with the happiness of a man who found his true home. I welcome him to our club.”

Abdurrahim Albayrak:

“We welcome him to his home. Galatasaray fans are waiting for him with excitement. We had been negotiating for his transfer for a month. I personally know how Emre is enthusiastic and excited to play for Galatasaray. Hope this transfer is going to be work for the best interests of our club.”

Emre Mor:

“Coming to Galatasaray was a big dream for me, finally it is true. I am really happy to be here and can’t wait to start training. I am thankful to our chairman, for his words and belief. This belief means a lot to me. I can not wait to get back on the pitch and play.”

“Coach Fatih Terim is the best possible coach for me. We have a great relationship, we know each other very well. He knows me very well. I have great respect for him. I think he is going to get the best out of me. I cannot wait to get trophies with him and our team.

“I love Galatasaray fans. I am excited to meet them. I hope we are going to celebrate new trophies and goals together.”
