Our new signing Okan Kocuk visited Chairman Mustafa Cengiz amd gave his first remarks to Galatasaray TV about his transfer to Galatasaray during the visit.

Okan's first words as a Galatasaray player came out while our Chairman Mustafa Cengiz presented his first red and yellow jersey. Young keeper said "Not my first Galatasaray jersey but it is the most special one."

Chairman Cengiz gave a content answer to this comment: "Splendid... This means a lot of things. We generally don't ask our players about their favorite clubs. Football is a professional world. However, we believe there is an amateur athletic soul alive here in Galatasaray. That's why we are here, to keep it alive. It made me really happy that you are also part of that spirit."

Our new signing gave his first remarks as a Galatasaray player after his visit, talking about his arrival, new goals, dreams and more:

"Coming to Galatasaray is an undescriable feeling. I am really happy and proud. I cannot define my feelings. When I came here I felt the value and importance of our jersey. My transfer was a bit complicated but I want to thank Fatih Terim and Abdurrahim Albayrak. They brought me to this club. I also sacrificed to come and be a Galatasaray player. I did what I had to do. I am really happy to be here.

"I think I can learn a lot from Muslera. He is a very experienced keeper. I think he is the best in Turkish Süper Lig. He is one of the best on international level. I will try to do my best when I get the chance to play and be the best replacement in his stead. Hopefully, I will also work with Claudio Taffarel and also learn from him too. It is going to be a privilege.
