Our coach Fatih Terim and players gave their post-match comments to beIN SPORTS Turkey after the 0-1 loss against Real Madrid in our home in Round #3 of UEFA Champions League.

Fatih Terim: "You make a game plan against teams like Real Madrid. You play according to that plan. The most important thing is, you have to score when you have the chances. You cannot waste chances against teams like Real and PSG. It has to be your strongest side. Because if you score, the game changes drastically. 0-0 or 0-1 in 18th minute is completely different in terms of psychology to a 1-0 lead in these games. Unfortunately we could not take that advantage today. If you cannot score your chances against big clubs, they break your will gradually. You risk a lot more when you are down and you give up more chances. We were not succesful at that today."

Ryan Babel: "We created chances in the first half. We could have scored two goals. It would have been totally different if we did. Your mistakes are punished heavily at this level. We lived that today. When you cannot convert in this level, your opponent converts a chance. We have to look game by game from now on. We have three games to play, we are Galatasaray. We have the talent to beat every team."

Fernando Muslera: "The rule of winning in Champions League is simple. You have to convert when you find chances. And you have to be flawless in the defensive end. When you make mistakes, they are punished immediately. We were punished immediately. We did not play bad, we had our chances. We still have three games to play. Our chance is still there. But we have to be more careful. We had four clear chances. Courtois was succesful but we have to convert these chances. If you can't, you can't get results."

Sofiane Feghouli: "We created chances in first 10 minutes but we could not convert. We had to be better in that aspect. Real Madrid converted one of the early chances. We had to convert the chances we created. They deserved this win. We have to be better in the remaining games. We have to play at a higher level for this."

Steven Nzonzi: "Our performance was not enough. Unfortunately, we lost. We created many chances but we conceded a goal because of a few individual errors. The remaining games are going to be hard but we will have chances to win. We have to show our best effort in those games. Our game at home is really critical. We'll see what will happen in away games."

Florin Andone: "We ran, challenged and competed until the final moment of the game. That's why I want to congratulate all my teammates. We made some chances but we could not convert them. We deserved, at least, a point with our performance and effort. Of course it's not the result we wanted. We were out there for 3 points but I think we deserved a point."

"Galatasaray is a great club. Giving up is not in its character. We have to compete until the final moment. We played three games, we still have three games to play. We still have a chance in this group. We will work, we will compete. We have to show our passion in every remaining game. If we show this passion, everything is possible. We have to keep our ambition and passion high."
