After our senior football team's loss against Tuzlaspor in the first leg of Ziraat Turkish Cup's 5th Round, our coach Fatih Terim and our players commented about the result and the game.

Here are the words of our coach:

"I think Tuzlaspor played and competed very well. And we deserved to lose. That's the recap of the game. My bench players should signal they are ready to never give it up the jersey when they play. Instead, they showed they don't have any intention to take the jersey. I expected a better performance, honestly. We cannot say we played good or created chances. We can only say congrats to our opponents. Such a surprise result could happen in a cup game. Let's see what'll happen in the second leg. Of course our opponent has the advantage. I wanted my bench players to poke my eye and show me they are here with their performance. I expected them to say "I am not a bench player, I must be on the field" with their play. Unfortunately, they did not do that. For me, the best player of the team was Emin Bayram. The others just wandered for 90 minutes, waiting for the end of the game."

Emin Bayram: "It was nice to play my first game for the senior team of course. But this was an unlucky one for us. We will compensate it in the second leg. We apologize to our fans. We will the get through hopefully. We have the power to make it. I could have played better. I have to work for better always. I will be better physically and gain experience. Hopefully it's going to be well. Hopefully it's going to be better."

Taylan Antalyalı: "We are a club that aims for title in every tournament we are in. It's same in the cup. We are sad to lose 0-2. But we have the power to turn around this result. Hopefully we are going to take the necessary result and go on to win the cup. I am sad for the team because of the defeat. We wanted to win, hopefully we will go on by winning the second game."
