After our senior football team's 1-0 win against Kasımpaşa assistant coach Levent Şahin gave his post-match comments about the game to beIN SPORTS Turkey.

Here are his comments:

"First, I want to congratulate the opponent. We played against a team that tried to play the game and play beautiful football until the last moment. Because we scored late, our attitude towards the game shifted to counter-attacks but not our system. I think we were superior in some parts of the match. We will see it for sure when we look at the video. If we played a little bit quicker and sharper in transitions, we could have had a bigger win. After national breaks, this kind of rustiness can be seen. But we have to leave this performance in the past. We are Galatasaray, we will play in tougher competitions and games. What we play in the league can never be the reference for Champions League but we want to build up on this performance."

"Our new signings are not hundred percent fit physically but there is no issue with their adaptation. Lemina had not played game for 3 or 4 months. I wanted Falcao to play the whole game but he said he was exhausted. When they catch up with the team physically, they will show their true value on the field."
