Post-match comments of our coach Fatih Terim and our players

After the 1-1 draw in Matchday 13 of Turkish Süper Lig against Trabzonspor, our coach Fatih Terim and three of our players commented about the game and the result.

Fatih Terim: "We did not give clear chances in the first half. If Belhanda was in his last season form, we would be much comfortable in the second half. We wanted it so much but unfortunately we could not win. We lost two points but every season has its turning points. I think we played really  good in the whole second half. First half was also good but in terms of our football quality, this second half could be a turning point. We deserved to win with this game but we could have been beaten right now. Apart from the result, we pressed well in the opposition half, passed well and created chances from both wings. My players reaction against a possible defeat made me happy, we played like Galatasaray. That made me happy. I hope this game is going to be a turning point for our football quality. I am satisfied about our reaction and fight but not from the result."

Yuto Nagatomo: "It was a hard match. Trabzonspor's stadium is always hard to play at. They are especially in form in recent weeks. We competed until the last minute. I think we deserved to win today. We play good and created a lot of chances. I think we deserved 3 points rather than just one. Our coach prepared us really well. We studied Trabzonspor really well. We showed that tactical preparation on the field. I think we deserved to win today."

Marcao: "I want to talk about Trabzonspor's goal first. Before Sörloth hit the ball, I felt his two hands pushing me. This was definitely a foul. I went to the ref right after the goal but he decided that the goal was valid."

"We knew that this game was going to be really hard. They are really good their on their own turf. But we prepared really well. Because of the fight and game we showed, I want to congratulate my teammates. We got a point but I think we deserved three points. But it's not bad to get a point in an away game."

Emre Mor: "I think Kamil Ahmet's tackle on me in the box was a clear penalty. I was sure of it on the field. I watched it again after the game in the dressing room and I am still sure. I past my opponent, he was behind me. He kicked my foot with his tackle, not the ball. How hard it was, for me it doesn't matter. I don't undestand why VAR was not used for this position. I think our penalty was skipped."

"We deserved to win the game with our second half performance. Especially we dominated the game with our quick football and the chances we created. We played the game we wanted and planned. We created good chances and played quick. We should've won the game."

"It's not easy to get into the from the bench. It's not easy to adapt the tempo of the game and feel the pace. I gave my best effort and try to be dangerous."
