Pre-match comments of Terim, Babel and Donk

Our coach Fatih Terim, our players Ryan Babel and Ryan Donk gave their comments about our 2019-20 debut game in Champions League against Club Brugge in Belgium with a press conference before the game.
Coach Fatih Terim: "Champions League is one of the greatest organisations of the world. When you enter through that door, you don't see just football. It's a huge organisation and a giant economy. Galatasaray has the motivation to participate in such huge competitions because of its foundational motto. It's a brand that wants to represent Turkey in such big stages."
"A good start is the biggest goal for our first game. In terms of budget, it is going to be a challenge between two close opponents. I talk about this aspect of the competition before almost all of our games but I also missed the Champions League Anthem. I love that music, it affects me. It reminds me where I am."
"Last year we played with 20 players in our roster, this year we made it up to 21 thanks to our financial performance and planning. Whoever we play against or we are with in our group, we cannot compete in equal terms because of these restrictions. Everyone who follows us knows what we had been through in the summer. We could not bring players without selling others but our opponents are not in this kind of situtaion. I want to repeat that in every change I got."
"We have similar cultures of football with Brugge. They want to use their homecourt advantage and start with a win in front of their fans. We also want to win. We want to play enjoyable football and leave the pitch as the winners. Whatever the result, it's always special to hear that anthem before the match. It reminds you where you are. I had been here many times but I don't think I would ever get bored of hearing it."
"Club Brugge is a team that mixes experienced players with young talents, they started the summer transfer with the signing of Simon Mignolet and kept on bringing other important players. They have dangerous players. Okereke, Dennis, Diatta, Mata... These are all quality players at the front. Vormer is one of their experienced players, Vanaken is a solid payer. We have to be careful."
"Obviously, for most pundits it is already predictable how our group is going to end. But everything is decided on the pitch, not on paper, in front of some desks. You have to play, you have to sweat to win. We respect the favorites of the group but, in my opinion, this is going to be an interesting group. Club Brugge is also related to this prediction. It's a good team, we need to be careful. I watched their match agaist Genk and also their last game. I hope we start with a good performance. Then we have two games, back-to-back in Ali Sami Yen. Interesting games are ahead, that's how football is."
Ryan Babel: "Our team is full of new signings. We worked together a lot before this game. We are really excited to play this game. I had good performances in Champions League in the past. Now I am with Galatasaray and I am excited to play in this stage once again."
Ryan Donk: "I am really happy to play for Galatasaray. I played for Club Brugge in the past. I thank them and I am grateful for the chance they gave me. Club Brugge is a team with passionate fans and so is Galatasaray. I expect a good match-up tomorrow."
