Our Captain Selçuk İnan's contract is extended for one more season. After signing the deal, Captain Selçuk and Vice President Abdurrahim Albayrak gave their remarks to Galatasaray TV about the extension.

Vice President Albayrak: "I was here for the first contract of Selçuk, now I am here for the extension. He has been our captain for years. He has been always by my side, never upset me in any way. He did not sign this contract now, actually. He said "I wouldn't even look at your offer. I am the captain of Galatasaray. Whatever you offer is good for me" from the beginning. I want all Galatasaray fans to hear that: May God give a captain like Selçuk to every team. I am really thankful to him."

Captain Selçuk İnan: "Hope it will all be good. This was not a transfer negotiation, we talked and agreed for this deal way before. I thank my coach Fatih Terim, to our board and everyone involved. Galatasaray always comes first. I am the captain of Galatasaray, I am aware of my title. Values of Galatasaray are always important, today Galatasaray protected one of them. I think that's what's important. We had many success, got 13 trophies here. I may continue to serve this club as a footballer or in any other function after this deal. I am a Galatasaray fan, my heart is with this club."
