In the press conference following our team’s 1-0 win against Akhisarspor in Turkish Super Cup, Galatasaray’s assistant coach Levent Şahin and our players Jimmy Durmaz and Marcao gave their comments about the game.

Levent Şahin:

“I say this happily and proudly: This trophy is a gift from us to our coach Fatih Terim. We felt his support, both players and staff, even though he was not able to be at the bench during our final game. We really feel his support, trust and presence with us. It’s a little gift but we think he is going to accept. (Laughs) We see this trophy as the beginning of other ones to follow this season.”
