Galatasaray sign Ahmed Kutucu

Galatasaray has signed Ahmed Kutucu for net transfer fee of €5,962,500.
Ahmed Kutucu was born on March 1, 2000, in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. He began his football career in 2003 at the youth academy of Sportfreunde Haverkamp. He later moved to the youth setups of Rot-Weiss Essen in 2006 and Schalke 04 in 2011. In 2018, he was promoted to Schalke 04's first team, marking the start of his professional career.
Kutucu played 45 matches in the Bundesliga for Schalke 04, scoring five goals. In 2021, he was loaned to Eredivisie club Heracles Almelo, where he made 15 appearances. That same year, he transferred to Turkish Süper Lig side Başakşehir but struggled to find regular playing time. In 2022, he was loaned to 2. Bundesliga team SV Sandhausen, where he scored three goals in 32 matches.
In 2023, Kutucu joined Turkish First League club Eyüpspor and attracted attention with his performance. During the 2023-2024 season, he played 21 matches and scored 14 goals, playing a key role in the team's promotion to the Süper Lig. This season, he continues his career in the Süper Lig with 8 goals and 7 assists in 18 matches.
