Galatasaray sign Ivorian star Wilfried Zaha
Galatasaray SK announced that it has signed Ivorian star Wilfried Zaha to a contract through the 2025-2026 Super League season.
Zaha advanced into the Crystal Palace first team from their academy in 2010. In his three full seasons at Selhurst Park, he scored 18 goals in all competitions. In January 2013, he was transferred to Premier League giant Manchester United, when Manu legend manager Alex Ferguson’s last season at his club. Zaha remained loan at Palace until end of the season and helping them return to the EPL.
Zaha returned to Palace in August 2014 on a season-long loan, before rejoining the club on a permanent basis in February 2015. He went on to play a further eight seasons with the club, becoming their tenth-highest all-time goalscorer,before transferring to Galatasaray in 2023.
He was born in the Ivory Coast but grow up in England from age four. He made his debut for England National Team in 2012 and appearing in two friendly matches. After not playing for England for four years, he switched to play for Ivory Coast ahead of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
On July 2023, our club announced that Zaha arrived in Istanbul to complete his transfer. On the next day, he signed a three-year contract with Galatasaray.
